You will never know the extent of bad luck until you sit down to read a serious fanfiction and somebody outside starts playing the fucking Hamster Dance.

A few points:
  • My computer is still attempting to open League of Legends, despite the fact that I first attempted this two days ago. I just clicked it, and it's been frozen like that ever since. Luckily, everything else functions well, though I've done everything in my power to close the LoL window, to no avail.
  • My dog ate some capsicum last night and I don't think he was supposed to.
  • I had McDonalds for breakfast and it was fucking kickass.
  • I am p/ sure I finally know what the final design for my tattoo will be.
  • Macaroni cheese is great.

Neglected Songs of the Week
fesh

Well, so much for that songs of the week thing. I don't know how much I missed, but it must have been heaps... Um, anyway, here's a  bunch to make up for what I missed.

A Horse Called Golgotha by Baroness

Something sludgy and vaguely reminiscent of old colonial-era wars. Somehow. Um... Baroness is fun. Listen to them.

PS: the art for this album (Blue Record), as well as that of Baroness' other albums, was created by the band's lead singer, John Dyer Baizley. If you've got time, you should totally check out some of his other artwork - it's all gorgeous,

Tired Climb by Kylesa

One of my favourite songs by one of my favourite bands. This is from their fifth and most recent album, Spiral Shadow.

Do Not Look Down by Meshuggah

From their new(ish) album Koloss. This song has a guitar solo in it, and usually I don't go for that kind of thing, but this song is just too good to pass up.

Described by the band's drummer as being "best avoided by the faint of heart!!" - yes, with both exclamation marks. Very Swedish.
